Dr Caldwell Esselstyn Jr.

Dr Caldwell Esselstyn is a leading proponent in the Whole Foods Plant Based Movement. As a former surgeon and cardiologist, Esselstyn has made it his life to work to promote a WFPB lifestyle to prevent and reverse chronic illness such as heart disease and diabetes.

He authored the book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease the results of a 20-year study proving changes in diet and nutrition can actually cure heart disease.


Dr Neal Barnard

Neal Barnard, MD, is president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, founder of the Barnard Medical Center, an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His federally funded diabetes research revolutionized the nutritional approaches to type 2 diabetes, and he now aims to empower readers with life-changing information on hormones and health.
